Tonbridge Giving Day is all about raising funds for our life-changing Foundation Award bursary programme. Each year, for 36 hours, we bring the School community together to take part in a series of fun challenges, whilst giving back to our local community and creating more bursary places for talented boys without means.
For Giving Day 2023, each House will be taking on a new series of challenges in the community, as well as Donor Challenges which you can participate in too!
On each of our Giving Day project pages today, you can read about the partnerships our Houses have built with some of our excellent local service providers, from primary schools to nature reserves. Last year alone, over 20 tonnes of wood chip, soil or compost were moved, hundreds of flowering plants and vegetables were planted and 30 bird boxes were installed. It’s an excellent reminder of how much we can achieve in just one day, when we come together as a community.
Each House will also be competing once more, in a ‘spectacular’ House Taskmaster challenge, results of which will be announced tomorrow.
