Today, Whitworth is taking on a series of challenges here at school and in the local community, all in an attempt to unlock further funds towards our life-changing Foundation Award programme.

Our boys are at Cage Green Primary School, helping develop their outdoor learning and play areas. In true ‘BBC Garden Rescue’ style, we will build a small pond and mini-beast area, put in raised beds, and fence off the whole area.

Meanwhile, the boys on site will be creating a sculpture inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy, utilising natural materials, to be situated on the Head/Fifty avenue.

To complete all of our challenges today, we need your help. If enough people tag their Giving Day donations to Whitworth House, we’ll unlock:

£500 if we reach 10 donors

£500 if we reach 20 donors

Please show your support for Whitworth today by making a donation of any size. Every gift counts!

Look out for our email updates and social media posts to see how Whitworth is progressing with our challenges and don’t forget to check our position on the Giving Day leader board!

On behalf of us all, thank you so much.
